Skyray Dr Who Picture Card Set

About Skyray Dr Who Picture Card Set

The Sky Ray lolly marketing campaign of 1967 saw the Dr joining forces with the ‘Sky Ray Space Raiders’ to battle the Daleks. Walls had to create a new character variation of Dr Who after an unsuccessful licensing attempt to use the current TV DR's (Patrick Troughton) image.

What's interesting

One of 36 Dr Who picture cards illustrated by Patrick Williams could be found with each Sky Ray lolly. The cards could then be collected in Walls' Dr Who Space Adventure Book.
