About Treason It S Just A Story
The Teardop Explodes were the flagship band on Zoo Records which was was formed by Bill Drummond whose was keen to recreate the 60's 45 catchy pop single style i.e Kinks, and Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd.
What's interesting
Teardrops Julian Cope shared Drummonds vision on catching the vibe of 1967 psychedelia singles with accessible nursery rhyme melodies and major chord harmony which by all accounts suited Cope's limited vocal ability.
