Sultans Of Swing
Festive Fifty 1978
About Sultans Of Swing
Peel bumped into Dire Straits at Niagra Falls and felt obliged to play their single afterwards he commented 'Don't like it a great deal but here you go the record exists buy it if you want to to don't if you don't'
What's interesting
Dire Straits were the antithesis of Punk really with instrumental technical proficiency substituting for imagination and energy
