About Alison

Written as a solo artist before the Attractions joined the party. The song's repeating refrain My Aim Is True became the title of Elvis Costello's Debut album

What's interesting

Supposedly written about unrequited love and frustration regarding a beautiful girl working as a supermarket checkout girl.
