Terrahawks Hawkwing

About Terrahawks Hawkwing

Terrahawks was not a classic Anderson series but it was his last to feature puppets although not with the much loved Supermarionation variety. In the 1980's Bandai took over the mantle from Dinky for producing diecast Anderson vehicles it has to be said in a superb fashion, producing very detailed models without losing the playability factor.

What's interesting

Hawkwing was fighter aircraft joint piloted by Captain Kate Kestrel and Lieutenant Hawkeye . The aircraft had a separate over-wing, which can be released to act as a flying impact bomb. The toy can split into two independent fighters.
