About Ufo Interceptor Dinky 351

UK and American broadcasters could not decide if UFO was a programme for adults or for children – In the UK, the first series was originally aired in the 5.15pm 'tea-time' slot on Saturdays. From Dinky's vested interest perspective UFO was clearly made for children and produced two fantastic Die-cast models from the show , but most fans think an opportunity was missed for Sky-Diver and even the UFO's to be given the Dinky treatment

What's interesting

The pilots slide down boarding chutes into their craft. The interceptors then rise from their hangar via elevating platforms to a launch pad disguised as a lunar crater, not sure why the Dinky model is painted green as the interceptor craft in the series were white
