Gabriels Model T Ford Dinky 109

About Gabriels Model T Ford Dinky 109

The Secret Service was the eighth and last Anderson series to be filmed using a form of electronic marionette puppetry known as Supermarionation, The shows premise is to follow the exploits of Father Stanley Unwin, a puppet character voiced by (and modelled on) the real-life comedian of the same name. Outwardly the parish priest of a rural English village, Unwin is secretly an agent for BISHOP, a division of British Intelligence that counters foreign criminal and terrorist threats.

What's interesting

There is little to no playability in this Dinky 109 toy with an indicator why the series failed as it also lacked action, imagination and sci-fi gadgets possibly because the show was set in the 1960's so no surprise that Derek Medding's and the technicians of the special effects department had few ideas for vehicles for the Father Unwin in the series
