Joe 90 Anglo Bubble Gum Cards

About Joe 90 Anglo Bubble Gum Cards

Joe 90 was a very different kind of Supermarionation series, the narrative of the show changing tack to the ever increasingly popular spy genre. Focus switched from action, futuristic technology and amazing special effects to more character development and sophisticated plot-lines , unfortunately this move away from science fiction resulted in less visual dynamic than previous Anderson shows

What's interesting

The 66 card set were a mixture of photographs and artwork. The backs of the cards made up a huge artwork poster, painted by TV Century 21 regular artist Ron Embleton.
