Sony Betamax C7 Video Recorder

About Sony Betamax C7 Video Recorder

Included here as Betamax was one of the biggest business marketing failures in history and is perversley collectable for that reason.

What's interesting

Betamax was expensive, bulky, ugly, poorly marketed and early models (Sl-8200) only capable of limited recording and playback. To add insult to injury most movies that people rented were just a little bit over one hour.
