About Lubricate Your Living Room
Edinburgh's The Fire Engines like neighbors Josef K were inspired by Subway Sect who were renowned for their anti-rock stance and played live sets that only lasted fifteen minutes.
What's interesting
Postcard supremo Alan Horne tried to sign The Fire Engines but ultimately signed to Bob Last who had folded Fast and wanted the Fire Engines for his new Pop-Aural label.
