Although fierce competitors Marvel's supremo Stan lee and his DC counterpart Carmine Infantino had previously worked together and decided to combine forces to create this landmark event in comic history a joint publication which returned a strong investment for both companies
What's interesting
The tired cliché of team ups as the characters start as enemies and end up combining forces together but it was nice to see something that most comic fans could only dream of, Spiderman acknowledging his vulnerabilities in battle which reflects the Marvel method whilst exploiting Supermans major weakness in that he's always been too powerful and to a maturing audience increasing unrelatable as a character.
