Conan 1

About Conan 1

Conan was not a Marvel creation but adapted from a hero who featured in a 1930's comic Weird Tales written by Robert.E. Howard

What's interesting

To set a comic outside the Marvel Universe was a bit of a gamble as you couldn't leverage team ups and battles between characters in different times that easily and often so additional characters from Howards mythology were introduced such as Kull the conqueror and Red Sonja.
