About Octopussy Hardback
The title 'Octopussy' comes from the Ian Fleming collection of short stories Octopussy and The Living Daylights. Hardly any of the plot of the short story is used in the film.
What's interesting
The film scene at Sotheby's is taken from a short story The Property of a Lady which was included in the 1967 release of the novel and featured in most later editions of the book
