Piz Gloria had been a partially completed cable car terminal and revolving restaurant on Mount Schilthorn and the producers was so impressed with the location they paid for its completion in return for exclusive use in the movie the Konrad Wolf designed building still survives today and has become a Mecca for Bond fans and a major tourist attraction.
