About Goldfinger Poster

Thunderball was always the preferred choice of producers Brocolli and Saltzman to be third instalment in the James Bond film series. However due to legal shenanigans between Fleming and screenplay collaborator Kevin McClory, The Eon Productions decided that Goldfinger should be the movie after From Russia With Love

What's interesting

Goldfinger had the equivalent of the budgets of Dr. No and From Russia with Love combined, what was then considered a large budget of 3 million dollars a sum worth nearly 10 times in present day
