From Russia With Love Hard Back

About From Russia With Love Hard Back

President John F. Kennedy named Fleming's novel From Russia with Love among his ten favourite books of all time in Life magazine it was also the film President Kennedy saw at the White House before his assassination in Dallas

What's interesting

Dr. No's screenplay writers, Johanna Harwood and Richard Maibaum were chosen to return for a second outing with initial instructions to follow Fleming's novel as closely as possible, However Terence Young's constant rewriting of predominantly Harwoods screenplay with ideas that were not in the original Fleming work proved too frustrating for her and she left the project.
