Dr No U K Quad Film Poster

About Dr No U K Quad Film Poster

A number of Hollywood film studios did not want to fund the Bond films, finding them overtly British andblatantly sexual, United Artists who eventually financed the films certainly didn't worry about the latter in fact used it as marketing leverage as Mitchell Hooks artwork on this poster displays

What's interesting

The poster encapsulates what is known as the Bond three-girl formula, which include an initial Bond conquest, in this case (from right) Eunice Gayson as Sylvia Trench, a villainous femme fatale whom Bond seduces and neutralises played by Zena Marshall as Miss Taro, and Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder as Bonds main damsel in distress
